Child Rights Policy

Our company employees are aware of the responsibility to recognize children as individuals, respect their rights, and prioritize the duty to protect them from all forms of psychological, physical, commercial, and other exploitation.

With the understanding that protecting children from all forms of violence is a fundamental right guaranteed by international human rights agreements and standards, we respect all aspects of Children's Rights. In addition, we accept and commit to all provisions, including those of international agreements we are a party to, such as the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (Lanzarote Convention), ensuring the privacy of child victims of violence.

Purpose

Our purpose is to ensure that Children's Rights are embraced by all our employees and stakeholders.

For this purpose:

  • We provide environments/opportunities within the facility that contribute to children's development, allowing them to freely express their thoughts, wishes, and emotions, and feel safe and comfortable.
  • We educate our entire team about types of child abuse (physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and neglect), and provide training on reporting child abuse and our social responsibilities in this regard.
  • We strive to be aware of parental attitudes and behaviors toward their children, including signs of physical, verbal, or psychological violence or neglect, and remain vigilant in such cases.
  • We ensure that child guests are under adult supervision during activities in which they participate.
  • We organize training and support relevant projects to raise awareness about the protection of children's rights.
  • If we witness suspicious actions involving children, we first inform hotel management and seek help from the Social Support Hotline if necessary.
