Our company invests in people. We believe that long-term relationships with all teammates (company employees, contracted personnel, subcontractors, etc.), preserving company culture, knowledge, and core values are the key to achieving success.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to define the basic principles that will be applied in recruitment, performance, training, development, orientation, talent management, labor relations, payroll, timekeeping, and all other Human Resources and industry practices.
The implementation of these principles aims to ensure sustainable success in strategies and targets, employee loyalty, a low turnover rate, and an organizational structure that creates a competitive advantage.
Our company expects all teammates (company employees, contracted personnel, subcontractors, etc.) to think and act like a partner of the company and to continuously demonstrate the ability to create economic value for shareholders and all other stakeholders.
Scope
This policy aims to be binding for all company employees, job applicants, contractor employees, and all stakeholders and local communities that have any commercial and/or industry relations with our company. Within the above-mentioned Purpose and Scope, the fundamental principles of our Human Resources Policy are as follows. Our company and all stakeholders targeted to be bound by this policy accept and commit to the following principles:
- No discrimination is made based on race, color, belief, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, marital status, age, physical disability, or similar reasons in employees and job applicants under any circumstances.
- The continuous review of the organization's human resources systems and processes and restructuring them as needed is ensured.
- The acquisition of qualified labor that will carry the company into the future is ensured, and equal opportunity and fair treatment principles are adhered to during this process, supporting cultural diversity as well.
- No person is forced to work involuntarily at any stage of production, and no child or young worker under the age of 18 is employed.
- Personal and professional development activities are organized to continuously improve the skills, knowledge, and competencies of employees related to their positions.
- An effective performance evaluation system is implemented, where managers regularly monitor the performance of employees in an open communication environment and take on development responsibilities, supporting corporate and individual development goals.
- Our company aims to create a common company culture by developing practices and approaches that increase corporate loyalty among employees, ensuring a work environment where safety, health, ethical values, participation, openness to change, and potential are prioritized.
- Our company's basic principles in managing employee compensation policies include transparency, fairness, promoting sustainable success (rewarding employees and being competitive), and maintaining a policy in line with long-term goals.
- The Human Resources department meets weekly with white-collar employees, especially new hires, and collects feedback regarding company conditions, possible areas for improvement, and good practices. The relevant managers report their opinions about employees to the General Manager.
- In accordance with legal regulations, the working hours for white-collar and blue-collar employees are as follows:
Day shift personnel: Maximum 45 hours per week, working six days a week.
They take a day off as a weekly rest day.
Shift workers: Maximum 45 hours per week. They work for six days and then take one day off as a weekly rest day.
Overtime work is carried out in compliance with labor law. The Labor Law stipulates that an employee can work a maximum of 11 hours a day.
Our company complies with International Labor Standards on working hours, namely the ILO (International Labor Organization) Hours of Work (Industry) Convention, 1919 (No. 1), and the Hours of Work (Commerce and Offices) Convention, 1930 (No. 30).
All applications related to the complaints and requests of our employees are submitted via email. All applications are presented to management for evaluation purposes.
Recruitment Policy
Purpose
This policy aims to define the principles to be followed in the selection, placement, and retention processes for positions currently available and/or newly opened within our company's organizational structure.
Scope
This policy applies to all personnel employed within the company and all job applicants. Within the above-mentioned Purpose and Scope, the basic principles and procedures in Recruitment, Placement, and Retention processes are as follows:
- In line with the vision of our company, talent management is prioritized in recruitment processes. An environment is created in which applicants and employees can showcase their abilities during the entire process of application evaluation, interviews, placement, and retention.
- Feedback, both positive and negative, is provided to candidates based on the interviews conducted during the recruitment processes for white-collar candidates, supporting the candidates' talent management processes. In these responses, areas in which candidates can develop themselves and areas they are proficient in are explained.
- Newly hired white-collar employees are included in a 2-month orientation program to enable them to bring out their emotional, cognitive, and technical skills. During this process, employees have the opportunity to observe processes in the business, thus enhancing their technical skills, and also engage in meetings with department managers to improve their communication skills.
Talent acquisition processes are supported with personal and professional development training. Each employee's strengths and weaknesses are identified during training organization, and training is provided to help employees improve themselves in areas where they need development.
The aim is to keep employees working with our company for many years by ensuring their loyalty through all these activities.
